It runs horrible, constantly stuttering and freezing with very long load times despite the fact that it's creation tools are nothing but a very basic drawing tool and text editor. Also, all of the map images in the preview appear to have been made outside of the program and imported, I feel a little disappointed as I was given the impression that this might be someting similiar to the "inkarnate" map tool with other features built on top. It has potental, but I would not recommend it as it is.. I bought this to help me run the several campaigns I DM regularly. Having tried to use it for a short while, I then got a refund. This application is not suitable for use on a PC. The UI is unoptimised, unintuitive and badly scaled for any screen larger that a tablet. The bulit in help is non existent and there are many other free tools online such as maptool or fantasymapbuilder that do the same job far better. Save your money.. Works for what i needed it for, Not perfect but close enough. It does a secondary display output of the map/image that you can hide things from the players but the GM can see and edit. I am using it for a Projection onto table Pathfinder game. Being able to see the maps and move about them really add to a game. Being able to hide paths with a Fog of war is the main feature of this program for me. So Pros.Import maps/imagesFog of WarSecondary Screen output for players.Placeable markersNeeds Improvement.Fog of war placing/errasing, Needs indicator of brush size. Map scaling, Token seems to always be smaller then inital scaling shows.Hold time to palce icons, Need to be less or none at all for PC.Cons.No way to rotate map in program.Requested features.Some way to snap back to a set scale/scale of map.Paint area indecation. Placeable Notes.Tokens that repsent NPC/Items, Such a sword/bow/staff npc tokens and Chest/statue/door/ tokens.. Pretty much unusable. Very hard to set up maps, difficult to run any kind of game with it.. 1 - didn't deliver to all kickstarter backers2 - clearly designed for tablets and PC port as an after thought.All controls are gesture based. if you don't have a touchscreen, don't buy.3 - super unintuitive to use.
